Manage your subscription
TeamsPIM is billed through Microsoft as a SaaS subscription. Your plan and seat quantity live in your Microsoft Marketplace subscription, so you change them with Microsoft, not in TeamsPIM. The Customer Admin Portal shows the plan and quantity but cannot change them.
Where to manage it
Section titled “Where to manage it”Microsoft lets you manage a Marketplace SaaS subscription in:
- The Azure portal, on the SaaS page. See SaaS subscription lifecycle management.
- The Microsoft 365 admin center, under Billing > Your products > Apps. See Manage third-party app subscriptions in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Changing a plan or quantity may need particular permissions on the subscription or billing account. Microsoft’s articles above list them.
Add seats
Section titled “Add seats”Each seat is one TeamsPIM licence. The Plan Licenses figure on the Licenses page is your current seat quantity. When all seats are used, assigning another licence fails with “Subscription limit exceeded.”
To add seats, increase the user quantity of the TeamsPIM subscription in the Azure portal or the Microsoft 365 admin center. The new quantity then appears as Plan Licenses in the Customer Admin Portal and you can assign the extra licences.
Change plan
Section titled “Change plan”Change plan in the Azure portal or the Microsoft 365 admin center, as described in Microsoft’s articles above.
Cancel (unsubscribe)
Section titled “Cancel (unsubscribe)”From the TeamsPIM landing page
Section titled “From the TeamsPIM landing page”- Open the landing page from your subscription in AppSource or the Azure Marketplace, and sign in with the purchasing account.
- Under “Available Actions”, select Unsubscribe.
- The “Unsubscribe Confirmation” dialog asks “Do you confirm to unsubscribe?” and warns “This action cannot be undone”. Select Confirm to cancel, or Close to keep the subscription.
From Microsoft
Section titled “From Microsoft”You can also cancel from the Azure portal or the Microsoft 365 admin center. See the Microsoft articles linked above for the steps and for Microsoft’s refund rules.
Questions about cancelling
Section titled “Questions about cancelling”For questions about your data or your tenant’s TeamsPIM environment after cancelling, contact Xertone support before you unsubscribe.
